Honing his craft at acclaimed agencies including Ogilvy and Modernista, where he led work for brands such as Ford, Cadillac, Nestlé, Cleveland Clinic, and Jolly Rancher, Eric’s approach is grounded in empathy, insight, and invention. As a founder of shark&minnow, Eric has led transformative work across sectors from finance and education to transportation, healthcare, and the arts. Under his strategic and creative direction, the firm has helped organizations articulate purpose, modernize brands, and reimagine customer experiences. His expertise spans research and insights, strategic planning, brand architecture, and integrated marketing, helping clients navigate complex markets and moments of change.
Eric holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University, specializing in qualitative and quantitative research.
He lives in Northeast Ohio with his wife, Hallie Bram Kogelschatz, and their children, Max and Noa, where curiosity remains not just a professional practice, but a family philosophy.
